The knot looks like a 2-band to me, I guess the SHD just stands for Super High Density. And it looks pretty dense to me, so you've probably got a great knot....I just noticed that the box says SHD and not two band badger that I ordered! I already have a couple of SHD brushes, so was after something different. Maybe that's how they label the 2 band, but I doubt it! I'll see what they say about it.
