Pre-shave; Warm shower, face rinse with MWF bar soap.
Brush; AP Shave Co, Etched Series ‘’Sea Voyager’’, Red resin handle and a 24mm AP Luxury bulb knot of mixed hair, 70% 2 band Finest Badger & 30% Pure Boar. Looks great with the Old Spice Mug!!
Soap; Old Spice, soap puck 3.75oz (1965-75) in a late 02 milk-glass mug ‘’Grand Turk’’ (1964-78)
Razor; Atelier Durdan, La Faulx ‘’The Scythe’’ AC razor with ++ plate, machine finish.
Blade; Schick, Proline P30.
Post-shave; Shulton, Old Spice Original, red plastic bottle, 150ml (Bottle style 1986

Shave; Bloody oldie but a goodie, No issue vintage O/S shave with ‘’The Scythe’’ lovely lather, nice n slick with a great O/S Splash to finish, no complaints here.

Haven't used 'Henry' for while. Scent profile: Lemon, Frankincense, Benzoin, Pimento Berry, Sandalwood, Clove, Coffee, Rosemary. The lemon adds a little sparkle in what is other a warm blanket scent.
Straight razors seem to be doing the best job for me at the moment. I still use the DE's and SE's regularly but they're not as satisfying as the straights. I did use a couple of disposable razors to shower shave, during recovery with my broken leg, and they actually seem to be best suited for that. I did try a couple of DE's for shower shave but they were a little dissapointing for a flying blind shave.
Finally got off the opioids in January. Glad to see them go but they weren't going to leave quietly, like kicking some holes in the gyprock and slamming the door on the way out, i.e. opioid dependence adjustment - now I can't sleep and have got better pain definition ( I know where the screws are at the top and bottom of the tibial nail)

Big razor? Don't they get a little unwieldy 1" and above?

Not at all. I find the optimum size for me is 7/8-9/8. Smaller than that they start feeling fiddly, larger is fine, but you have to be comfortable not seeing what you are shaving

Agree, I have 4/8” and it feels harder to control. 7/8” straight razor is as large as is comfortable for me. 6/8”Not at all. I find the optimum size for me is 7/8-9/8. Smaller than that they start feeling fiddly, larger is fine, but you have to be comfortable not seeing what you are shaving
