2025 Shaving Acquisitions Thread

A very generous PIF from @JaggardJ. A Mikawa Asano (based on the stamps) hoboyo, and a heavily modified Gold Dollar. I've thought about modding a GD and grinding a thumb notch (there's plenty of meat in the tang to play with), and now I've got one to try a shave with. Many thanks!

Package from Samson at blade.net.au just arrived. I had been keen to try this soap since picking up SMN Tobacco Toscano aftershave in Melbourne earlier this year.



Samson also included, gratis, some Saponificio Varesion bath soap and shower gel, because he is a truly good bloke! :)

A few things from Aliexpress. This Proyan 15k grit stone came up on my shopping feed, and after some googled reviews, thought I might give it a try. It's supposed to be finer than a Shapton glass 16K. For the price, might be worth taking a punt, even if it does have a tendency to crack/craze over time. The GD P-81 I picked up for $16 after I exchanged some AliX coins.
