Nice to get back into a routine.
My first Filarmonica picked up for a steal thanks to its crooked smile. I’ve read that this kind of uneven wear often comes from years of heavy stropping in the hands of a busy barber. Whatever the cause, I’ve never felt the need to “fix” it — she sharpened up beautifully and shaves like a dream.

The loom strop and some red stropping compound paste is all I need to maintain the edge between honing

Pre-shave: Shower
Soap:- P.160 - Tippo Morbido
Brush:- Omega - 10065 Natural Bristle
Str8:- Razor:- Filarmonica 13 with JR custom scales
Aftershave:- Cella

There’s something satisfying about bringing an old blade back to life — imperfections and all. Looking forward to many more shaves with this one.​

All good here thanks. So glad the razor has found a good home, and that you enjoy it still. I think it was my Grand-Dads razor, but could go further back in time.
My Great Grand-Dad came to NZ in the 1870's from Ireland so it is possible that this was his razor.
Would have been a shame for me to keep it (just for the family connection) and not give it any use.
Now it has a new life and is doing as its maker intended.
It should last another century or two I reckon.
