Found my perfect blade

After trying out a few different blades since getting my R96, I've finally found one that just feel right with it. For me at least, the best pairing for my Muhle Rocca is the Gillette Nacet.

I bought a 100 pack on Amazon and they are the newer Egyptian made blades. They have a similar sharpness to the Bic (my previous blade of choice) bit they are noticeably smoother. I can get some very good shaves from the Nacet, they cut very well and just seem to glide over my skin.

Mmh, interesting those 2 blades are in my top 2, (Feather is my No1, but in the Guido only) but I find them equal in sharpness but the BIC smoother shave 4-7, another YMMV

I think it's very razor dependent. What worked in my old r89 was terrible when I got the Rocca, so I've been trying different blades and found the Nacet worked best. But as you said YMMV and its quite subjective anyway.
