As per title. After using my DE, I almost forgot how to use my artist clubs. Have tried to get back to using a straight but all ive done is put some nice cuts on my face.
 
Ive been using the feather and the CJB clone for awhile now. My suggestion, if you have them are the Proguard blades. Find that with these I have very few problems.
If your using the professional blades, I found that at 1st I did have to 'stretch' the skin a little to avoid scraps.
Soap was also a big factor. MWF ( or the like) would be a good starter.
(Don't start and stop without lifting the blade. I try to 'hit the skin moving'!)

currently i have the following:

5x professional (in box)
5x super professional (in box)
1x proguards (in box)
1x kai blues (in box)

plenty of blades to learn from
