The long answer: It smells good. At least mine. But it doesn't lather. I purchased one when I just started DE shaving and thought it was mine lathering technique. But not. It simply doesn't lather. Yes, you still can shave after trying to load a brush for no less than 2 minutes, but why bother? Shaver Heaven is just slightly more expensive, but it's much better.
