Black Beauty date query.

Blackie

The guy from over the ditch
Guys, one of my 'other' razors is a Gillette Black Beauty. It has the long handle (is the short version still called a Black Beauty anyway?).
Just looking at it today as I may finally get around to selling it, and found the serial number as Q 1.
Very sure it's not an O...it is a Q.
I see online that only some razors have the Q serial.
Does this help the price a bit, or make no difference?
Are there people out there who collect these slightly off-beat serials?
Price? No idea. Ebay seems all over the place.
If it's not a 'special' razor because of the Q serial I'll probably keep it for use now and then, but hasn't been shaved with for about 20 years now.
Yeah, I know...I must get out more.
Any thoughts on that Q serial?
Thanks.

Yep, seen talk of these around and I think it would add to the value as a little unique - but still dependent on overall condition.

Yes, thanks @Mark1966 It was made in 1971, and in very good nick.
If I decide to pass it on I'll bung it on here first and maybe trade for blades, soap, or something instead of cash.
I'll bung up a photo soon too (just to show it off!).
Edit: Q1 is the only Q code serial and only came out in 1971 (Thanks to Google for that info update).
