DOTD! What are y'all drinking on today.

Sheepdog Peanut Butter Whiskey...I tried this over Xmas/New year....and it's a really nice wee drop!
Drink it straight, maybe 20mm or so in your glass, add an ice cube or two, enjoy.
It says Peanut Butter Whiskey...and I do not like peanut butter.
However, there is no taste or smell of peanut butter so 'still your beating heart'. This is not a rubbish drop at all.
It's a Whiskey Liquer really.
Some reviews say they don't like the peanut taste (there is none...so it's all in their mind), all allergens are removed too so there is nothing peanutty going on.
One reviewer complained because he added Coke and it ruined the flavour (am I allowed to say 'd*ckhead' on here?).
Shouted my aussie neighbour a drink after Xmas, and his Missus liked the smell and asked to have a drink too (and she is not normally a booze drinker).
She loved it, so the 3 of us then had another round (my Missus was away and had left me unsupervised for a few days).
Great stuff. Very tasty, and I'm sure it will click with some of you.
I'm buying another bottle.

At 12:23, you seem to have made a very early start (albeit with a homeopathic measure). ;) Drawing the curtains and turning on the lights is a good way to pretend the sun is over the yard-arm though. (y)

I too am using my father-in-law's Stuart Crystal glasses tonight (this time with a cheapo Glen Moray peated). Some have informed me that a Glencairn glass is a superior person's choice, but I couldn't give these up, so a pleb I shall remain.

The nip was due to the small amount left in the bottle - making it last!

I agree about the glassware :)

DA HONGPAO PREMIUM

No Alcohol for 40 days. This was a gift from a close Buddy in China. It is a Purebred variety of Oolong tea sourced from a single varietal propagated asexually from the mother trees. Due to its specific propagation method, there is no concept of second or third-generation tea. It is a rare limited edition. Harvested using the oldest methods on the rocky slopes of the Wu Yi Mountain, the tea features unique woody notes reminiscent of chestnuts and hazelnuts. The hand rolled leaves impart a strong, rich and woody taste that lingers in the mouth.

Wow. I'm a "teatotaller" in that I pretty much only drink tea with yum cha, but Da Hong Pao has a reputation for being at the pinnacle of royalty among teas. (y)

There's an episode of "Death in Paradise" where the deceased is deemed to have been murdered because she made herself a cup of Da Hong Pao, then failed to drink it. :ROFLMAO:
