February 2019 SHAVING Acquisitions Thread

My tub of TOBS Royal Forest arrived yesterday, and gave it a whirl this morning.
The scent is unmistakably Aventus, but smells stronger off the tub than when it's lathered up.
Didn't pair it with my Aventus decant; I was going to be in close quarters early, and didn't want to dominate the room.

Could you not wait for the stainless steel version? Didn't take you for a brass patina kinda guy as most of your razors are very shiny and might I say very nice ones at that.

I completely forgot about the stainless CB to tell you the truth. And you are correct. I dislike patina very much. To me it just looks dirty. The Karve will get a weekly polish with the rest of my brass and bronze razors to keep it nice a shiny. 🙂
 
Move on people, in fact here to get the March Acquisitions.
