Actually state of Minnesota in US which gets very cold and snowy in the winter (which started yesterday in my opinion).
I began DE shaving at the age of 6 with my father - Gillette TTO. At age 16 or so, I got my first blade. Electric razor for college years. Cartridge user for long time including buying an EJ handle and Feather MR3. Returned to DE shaving a few years ago and started reading shaving forums.
Shaving forums are educational, fun reading, and quickly requiring higher credit card limits. I found a favorite (or two) UK forums. Also my most expensive forum(s) - now the proud owner of custom made shaving brushes, several creams, new watch, new wallet/keyrings, etc. .
Favorite purchases would be my Mervyn Cadman custom "Prince Memorial" shave brush with Purple Rain colors (Prince and I are both from Minneapolis) and my new Wolf Whiskers synthetic brush (just arrived and hope to post pictures).
Most unusual purchase was Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush and Ursa Major shave cream at the same time. Ursa Major is a brushless shave cream. Quickly decided I needed some educating.
i have been "lurking' for many months now. Goal for this forum is more education - some excellent shaving/skin care products from AU and NZ. Various opinions and ideas are allays good
