I note that your current razor is a Merkur Progress- have you tried many vintage razors, or you simply prefer the more modern variety? Plenty of passion here for vintage as well as high quality modern stainless steel (and everything inbetween!).

I used to shave with a Gillette super speed and also a fatboy many years ago, I still have them somewhere. With time being an issue due to work for me I generally stick with the Progress these days. It's a great DE that does a fine job, I also particularly like the ability adjust with it accurately.

Welcome @todras. Great to see another Sydney person here. As some one that has far too many soaps, I would suggest getting some local soap (if you call Melbourne local ) from @Anthony at Shaver Heaven, it is world class in my opinion.
