Thought I should finally take the plunge and sign up here too.

By way of introduction I live in Canberra and I do NOT have R.A.D.

I've been wet-shaving for years mostly with a Sensor or for the last decade or more, a Sensor Excel. Switched to DE and got a decent brush in March 2010. Picked up a birth year razor later than month and then snagged a few more along the way.

I confess that I'll need to learn to check here as well from time to time and say hi. I'f I've not been around it is because I'm forgetful!

Welcome Mark. If you're not suffering from RAD with the purchase of four razors, just wait until you start not suffering from shaving brush and soap/cream ADs. It's a pretty quiet site here so checking in once in a while is the way to go until the hordes start signing in.

Welcome aboard! I believe the DSM IV states that owning a birth year razor is not neccessarily proof of RAD no matter what your cart shaving mates might try to tell you

No quite. But if your birth year is 1905 I've got you well covered

I don't think the British 'crats are sufficiently precisely dated to really qualify as birth year razors either.....
