Welcome aboard, I hope you're prepared to be given lots of good advice, as well as some pretty dubious encouragement to spend all your money!
 
Welcome @ColorMug. Stay well away from straight razor shaving. It is only for those who wish to die younger.

In the 1800s when men shaved with straight razors, the average life expectancy was about 40 to 50 years. Into the 1900s, as men moved to "safety" razors, average life expectancy moved to about 70 to 80 years. If that doesn't prove it you, nothing will.
