Ikon SBS and Pils

... and these are a few of my favourite soaps.
This is a question for those gents that have used both the Pils and Ikon SBS. One side of the SBS razor head looks similar to the PILS head design and both hold the blade in a dead flat position. My question is, do both razor shave similarly. If they do then I will pass on the Pils since I am not really impressed with the Ikon SBS.
