It has been a while but I am now recovering from Dupuytren’s contracture surgery on my left hand (three fingers and the thumb - 48 stitches). The surgeon says that I should be back riding motorcycles before Christmas.
Fortunately one of my girlfriends came to look after me for the first two weeks after surgery. Then in the fourth week of recovery, my little sister flew in from Israel to care for me. I am now back alone with my dog.
Since my surgery I have been shaving with a cartridge razor. I'm still too scared to shave with a "safety" razor. This morning I had my first post surgery SR shave. I couldn't properly do skin stretching, however all went well with just a couple of weepers.
Over the next few weeks I will be getting back into my SR shavingobsession hobby.
