I'm not in the same league as RM, or probably you guys with your Schicks. However I will (when they arrive) have around 100 spoilers which should last me a long time, plus some others which are a bit of a punt (ok a lot of a punt in the case of the Punktals and the French Gillettes). But if that lot is any good, then I should have a good 10-15 years worth of blades, presuming the Darwin climate doesn't ruin them.

I am guessing the blue blades are carbon steel, in which case I have no plans to let them anywhere near my face.

Could you make a desicator to store them in and keep them dry? An air tight container and some silica gel or calcium chloride. Wouldn't be too hard to do and could save you some tears.
