Need help with NEW Deluxe razor.

Guys, a USA contact can get me a nice condition, uncased Gillette NEW Deluxe.
He says the razor is Gold, and 'near mint'.
Then he asks me to make my best offer!
I have no idea...what would be a fair price?
I have to include shipping from USA to NZ which will bung on another $20US - $30US anyway.
Your help would be much appreciated as the ebay prices are all over the place.

My contact (John, ex US Army, 62) was going to send some photos...but...I just decided I don't want a NEW Deluxe! (or a Criterion/Belmont, etc).
Told him I would like a nice OLD instead.
However, if any of you guys want the NEW Deluxe please pm me and I'll see if John is OK with dealing with you.
If he's happy I'll pm you back with his email address.

Also known as a Red & Black for the color of the case? It's a 1934 raised flat bottom, open comb, 3 piece , gold washed, commonly fitted to a fat Bar handle. It might look like this one that's been plated in nickel.

Turns out it is a Criterion razor set.
I originally told the seller that I was more interested in an OLD type now, so he has listed it on the ebay place.

I'm not buying it, but he has put a high price on it...however he does take offers (he puts a higher price on as he has no idea of the true value).

Apparently he also has no idea about the details on the item in general.
Since Friday "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing". He hasn't relisted it as of this post.
