G'day guys
I'm a Veteran returning to wet shaving. Having wet shaved every day of my professional career, I quit at discharge & switched to a good quality electric shaver, the results of which are best described as adequate.

My "flyaway" toilet kit consisted of an old Gillette butterfly, Wilkinson Sword blades, an empty Tic-Tac container for used blades, Palmolive shave stick, 1/2 bar normal soap, 1/2 salt water soap, Airline complimentary toothbrushes & toothpastes, small tub of Fuller's Earth Powder, a car's sun visor mirror ( they're now plastic & lightweight) & a "super-cloth" towel (3ft square, lightweight super-absorbent, and very quick to dry) from UK.

I purchased a "Feather/Proraso Entry Level Safety Razor Kit" and am awaiting delivery. Will post first results which I don't expect to be the best after an 18 year absence from wet shaving.

Bucephalus or Bucephalas was the horse of Alexander the Great, and one of the most famous actual horses of antiquity. - Wikipedia

It that the intended link with the user name?

Hey - Happy shaving :)

Hi Mark1966
Yes, he's the one and only! He was deemed unrideable until Alexander noticed he was shying away from his own shadow. Alexander turned the animal until the sun was behind him and the rest is history. It is generally accepted that Becephalus was buried in modern day Pakistan.

No, my avatar isn't Becephalus :D (several different spellings).

Hey welcome. It will be interesting how fast you take to it and if the muscle memory has persisted.
