Old habits

Had a few days of bad shaves first I thought it was the blade and changed it and still had nicks and burning so went back over everything I was doing and realised I was using too much pressure it's amazing how old habits can creep back just when you think our on top of things
Luckily all is good again but I was surprised I regressed,I suppose it's a good learning experience

I agree with you - it's easy to try and "save" time or a pass with a little extra pressure but the results aren't worth it. Light and deft is the way to go. Great lesson to re-learn. [emoji106]

Keeping the potential for peril high by using a more aggressive razor usually keeps me from regressing. If I'm in a hurry though, I tend to use the safer options and that's when I sometimes slip up if I'm not concentrating at least a little.

Is why I try to alternate between an aggressive and mild razor.
Also enables the epidermis time to recover.
