Today's soap cook was a play with Grapefruit and a couple of oils I hadn't used in shaving soap previously, Mango Seed Butter and Emu Oil. Another menthol soap which seemed fitting for Grapefruit. Same menthol strength as Robaiba Blue (definitely know it's there but not face freeze).
Test lather was good, lathers easily, takes on plenty of water, feels good on the face, and scent is not overpowering despite increasing fragrance ratio significantly (probably still got room to move there) though I notice it's staying nicely on the face post lather test.
Ingredients: Stearic, Tallow (Beef), Olive Oil, Mango Seed Butter, Tamanu Oil, Castor Oil, Emu Oil, Lanolin, Beeswax, Hemp Oil, Jojoba Oil, Tussah Silk, Bentonite, Glycerine, Filtered Water (RO), KOH, NaOH, Menthol, Essential Oils.
Essential Oils: Grapefruit, Clarysage, Vetiver, Copaiba.
The scent is dominated by Grapefruit with enough Vetiver in the background to make it interesting. The Copaiba helps to round the picture out.
