What’s the difference between a Gillette TV Special Flare Tip vs the normal Gillette Flare Tip?

Are they both the same? Shave the same? before a friend mine from Lodge is planning to buy one online.

They should be the same, but I swear mine shaves smoother and is a more enjoyable razor. I wouldn't have bought one on it's own, but it came along with some other razors I bought on the bay.

I believe Gillette went to a lower profile head in the 60's. so from my understanding, the heads are identical, it's just the handle that's different.
