Hi all I'm in Bali for 2 weeks. This morning I woke up planning on a nice clean shave to discover I have left my razor at home.
I had to use the missus disposable and I have been regretting it all day.
Also spent the day trolling the markets but no razors to be found. Any ideas of where I can find one?
 
There are plenty of barbers around who will do a good job for cheap, some of whom even do a reasonable straight shave.
 
Think hygiene if going to a local barber. Is it obvious they are using barbicide (and not alcohol) or using a shavette with disposal blades.
Plenty of supermarkets there that sell modern shaving creams and cartridge razors.
For DEs, no idea. Try Mr Pangkas Barbershop (Jl. Gunung Tangkuban Perahu No.10X, Padangsambian) & The Headmost (Jl. Teuku Umar No.87, Dauh Puri Klod, Denpasar Bar). Good reviews for later one and looks fun as old tv for counter.
 
You should be able to find a plastic DE wrapped together with a couple of Gillette Goal blades...something like this:

Don't know where you are in Bali - in Sanur your best bet would be Hardy's, in Ubud the big Coco Supermarket

The blades are actually not bad - I have a couple 100 ;)
