Soap fest continues. Todays soap is a menthol soap with the name being an unimaginative representation of the essential oils and blue for menthol. I used twice the amount of menthol used as for Fantome de Menthol so there's no mistaking it's in there this time.
This is quite a soft soap despite the formula changes dictating otherwise, hopefully it will firm up with maturation. Test lather was good with lots of water take up producing a thick cream on the face with distinct cooling. Appropriate for today's temperatures of 40+.
Ingredients: Stearic, Tallow (Beef), Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Tamanu Oil, Avocado Oil, Kokum Butter, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Tussah Silk, Glycerine, Calendula, Menthol, Filtered Water (RO), KOH, NaOH.
Essential Oils: Rosemary, Basil, Black Pepper, Copaiba. Copaiba is mid to background in this soap so it will be interesting how the scent develops. The Rosemary is Spanish so it's singing with a Camphor accent. Probably test shave tomorrow.
