I have a 70's or 80's Gillette Black Beauty SUPER ADJUSTABLE long handle and when I open and close the doors on the head it makes a HORRIBLE screeching sound. It's very annoying. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks

From my experience these screeching sounds come from the press fit TTO knob-
I personally use a light oil such as mineral oil, sewing machine oil, Nano oil or the like between the two parts and that solves most noises.
