If the razors were the same price I wouldn’t complain, but the DLC version is dearer. I should receive what I paid for, not less.

I'm only pulling your leg mate - totally not OK and a complete pain with a supplier on the other side of the world.
 
Got it from shaving.ie and I’ve never had an issue with them until now. The outside box label has R96 printed on it.
I guess there must've been a junior staff who couldn't tell the difference between R96 vs R96 Jet on the box label
 
To those gents that have both, is the jet dlc a smoother shaver than the non dlc Muhle? Does it glide better? I got offered a 40% discount, but if the jet is better then I’ll return the non dlc and request the jet version. I mean, it’s not like I’m in this hobby to save money. 😁

They'll shave exactly the same. Unless you're a goth or have some other preference for black, just enjoy the shaves and claim the difference in price from the vendor.

I've read the JET coating may wear off over time so, perhaps the R96 and 40% refund is the way to go.
