Just a quick update on the Timeless.
I have just listed my 0.95 OC baseplate on the BST.
I found it too much for me as a daily driver. Not for any bad reasons...it just shaves so darn close (and smooth). Never cut myself, not even a weeper. Certainly a lovely close shave....but....I had no need to use the Timeless every day as my whiskers don't grow that quick.
Now using the 0.68 OC baseplate I also bought and I can shave each day with that.
So currently still enjoying the Timeless. Even Missus says I don't look 'scruffy' towards the end of each day!
Worthwhile buying it? Heck yes. Beats the other razors in my stable for the combined closeness and smoothness, and so far it doesn't seem picky about what blade I bung in it.
I'm trialing it against my NEW SC and Fatip Picollo at the moment with a 1/2 and 1/2 shave every few days.
So far the Timeless is winning, but I've yet to try a Kai in the NEW or the Picollo. They may shave a tad closer then, but probably not as consistently smooth with it.
I will report back.
