Weather appropriate soaps

Hi All,

With the current cold, wet & dreary weather in Sydney, I find myself realising I don't have any really 'warm' soaps I'm my possession. This worries me with autumn fast approaching (any excuse to buy more soaps will do )

Sure Proraso Green & SH Citrus Garden are great to use any time of the year but they feel more suited to warmer days.

What are your go to soaps/creams on colder days?

A Bay Rum soap and aftershave combination is a favourite of mine when it gets cold.

I'm alright to use any soap whenever, but bay rums, spices and woods would probably make the majority of what people consider as a cold weather scent. I find Shaver Heaven's Aladdin quite nice for cold weather, particularly if you're into sweet scents and at the same time it's not 'warm' enough to be a cold weather only scent either. TOBS sandalwood is okay, but I can't use it.

Yep - what they said plus TABAC! Original - a classic that everyone should have. I used it yesterday in my SOTD for that reason - Shave of the Day Thread - 2016

I go for Mitchells Wool Fat in the cooler months, as well as Bay Rum like already mentioned.
