G'day P&C,

After nearly 2 years of experiencing from Boar, Plissoft, Tuxedo, Best Badger, Finest Badger, Silvertip Badger and the Manchurian White from my be loving Platypus. I believe I've been struck by an evil voodoo curse of @alfredus badger lover virus, so I'm really enjoying more of my Maseto Extra Density 2 Band Finest and the Maseto 2 Band Finest 30mm knot has really kicking me in so bloody bad.

I'm going to keep a few brushes from Boar, Plissoft and Tuxedo in my den, and I'm going to sell nearly all my other Boar, Plissoft, Tuxedo and some Silvertip from my den to some of the guys from Lodge.

The badger brushes I'll be buying mostly is from Maseto because the budget cost is perfect, I'll be planning to get a few more badger brushes from @Tony Forsyth soon maybe in the middle of the year, since I love my Platypus Manchurian White. Later on throughout the year with some extra help and some advise from @alfredus choosing the right Manchurian brushes in my den.

So far I'll wait awhile to see more Maseto brushes on the market with various handle shapes design, mostly I'll be getting the 2 Band Finest 30mm knot and a few Extra Density 2 Band Finest 24mm or 26mm knot into my den.

Yeah, badger is the best in performance but horse is most ethically excellent so wins overall IMHO.

In my experience it goes;
1. Badger
2. Horse
3. Rubbing some soap on my face with my hand.
4. Synthetic
5. A Rock
6. Boar

But My sample size from 2-6 is too small to draw conclusion.

What about yaqi vs maseto in badger?
I heard already good things form maseto ones, but yaqi is doing a good yob on the handles, and maybe the hair on them is not much different?

The Sydney Lodge museum is not buying my shaving items I'm selling @Ferret619 ;) there are Masons who are wet shavers like me :smug: and some of them never used or heard of Synthetic and Tuxedo brushes ;)

Lol I mean my guys wherent interested in seeing my fraternally relevant shaving gear let alone interested in wet shaving generally.
No mention of buying or selling anything.

@sealer & @SpeedyPC going to sell most of my Yaqi's except the 26 mystery space and 30mm boss. I find the handles not to my liking so didn't look at the badgers. Maybe I should of purchased a badger knot before I went on a Sabbatical :LOL:

The Masetos look like a better design but won't know until my order arrives. :cool:

Wow, really not a fan of Boar then @Ferret619 . :LOL: For me it's number 1, I'm just getting into badgers now and am yet to try horse.

I’ve only tried a few omegas TBH and just found the few I have used to be very scratchy and comparitivly not as good at making a lather, perhaps a high end knot would be different but the performance I have had just didn’t thrill me personally.
Diffrent strokes I guess :)

I’ll try more at some point though, it’s good to challenge your perceptions from time to time :)

@Sxot is wasn't bright enough during my 2 years experience shaving brush journey, I've should've resolved this issue sooner rather than later. Never mind I've learn my lesson :shifty:
