The Diplomat blades... anyone tried them?

These vintage blades are on the Bay at them moment...

Has anyone heard of them or used them? There's an Australian company listed on the web but they make industrial blades etc.

These look to be from the 60's... stainless steel and polymer coated.

I might give them a try :sneaky:

Yeah, I was watching them at $45 and too rich for mine at that price - will be interested in knowing your thoughts - and I will stay away now!

(BTW - I was thinking '60s or early '70s)

Likewise.
Packaging appears to be English Wilkinson Sword-esque...

Thanks guys - I couldn't find any country of manufacture on the box, so who knows??

The star of David hanging between the o and a of diplomat suggests Israel to me.
I think I've seen them sold for quite high prices on other eBays so wouldn't be surprised if they are pretty good

Touché.
I found this on ebay, same font and with yiddish words.

In light of that, they may be from the Personna factory.
Either that, or a rebrand.
Guess we will find out when (if) you get them.

Missed out - now I'll never know :(

LOL - they went around a couple of times as a BIN at $45 with no takers - but the auction goes to $44!

I hope that they are rubbish now ;)

Hope they're a carbon blade ;)

So PM me your address @Snooze, I could not resist at $28 ...

Haha ... thanks Mark...how about sending them to the P&C Charity Auction...:)
