September 2018 SHAVING Acquisitions Thread

I came across this brand when I bought my ATT razors. I have the up and adam with menthol and I was so impressed with the performance of them that I knew I wanted to get some more. I had been checking the Stubble Trouble website for a while and they were constantly saying " we are no longer taking orders' etc. So I thought that they were maybe not continuing on, so I figured I'd raid the ATT site for some of their stock. Having placed the order, I was emailed that the summer passion was out of stock, and I got a refund. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find three tubs in the package from Mr Postman, instead of the expected two. Happy days.

First impressions:

Summer Passion - definitely summery, with mostly peach coming off the top. Disappointingly, it smells slightly old and stale. Hopefully it freshens up with lathering

Rhymes with Orange - blood orange, straight away, cucumber and mint nicely in the background. This one smells lovely and am really looking forward to trying this.

Praying Mint-is - hard to place this scent. The name is deceptive, mint is not the first accord I get, more like fresh air.

If they lather as well as the Up & Adam, then I know I won't be disappointed.

Can't wait to try it out tomorrow morning. Smells lovely, but hard to describe. A nice restrained scent, at least to my nose. Very work friendly I suspect.

Arrived today, the 6c is very shinny got a nice weight to it too. The Antica Barberia Colla reminds me of my Oma always had almond fingers at my Oma's.
