Had to test the Weishi razor and Cloud blade before passing on to a work colleague
Gave a nice comfortable 2 x WTG=DFS nice and agile under the jawline
Could not get more than a watery paste from the supplied brush so upgraded to a 1/2 decent boar

Didn’t realise the Weishi has a new stamp or logo on the top doors.

I wouldn’t give it to him just yet, until the Weishi long handle is included.

Another cold and rainy morning today, so I needed an uplifting shave with Bay Rum. Oh, and a new brush and new balm didn’t hurt as well. Very nice shave.

This morning's shave was a four passer (my first); WTG, WTG, XTG + fool's pass and XTG in the opposite direction. This increased my enjoyment by a third.

Result was just slightly better than normal. Now to see if I have something to shave tomorrow morning.

Got a subpar lather with the Lotustip being a bit of a hog and a slightly stingy amount of soap, but got a good shave nevertheless. I'm not familliar with B&M's bases but this did good in spite of me.

Post-shave: Alum block, Razorock Emperor, Armaf ‘Club de Nuit’
I put the straights down for a few weeks as I got the yips; todays shave showed that slow and steady will do the trick.
Only hiccup was that I dropped my alum block onto the tiled floor and shards went far and wide; however a functional piece survived..

I am not that charitable @SpeedyPC, he will have to settle for the short handle

Shannon's Soaps base reminds me of House of Mammoth that I tested because it forms a gooey paste rather than prota lather.
I have decided to just add enough water while loading that it becomes a cream.
With ingredients of Bergamot, Basil, Oakmoss & Patchouli its a very simple citrus forward barbershop scent

Hi @klinker I have admired that handle since first day and regularly check Spiffo site to see if they have any others.
Do you think the rough bark effect is synthetic or natural and they just happened upon the perfect diameter piece of wood?
