There isn’t any left, because, we bought it ALL the old tallow Tabac version.

Exactly. One only has to look. And it's nice of them to take the trouble to say, so kudos to B&B. (y)

BTW, I've read that the new formula is OK too... 🤞

I've also read that the ceramic tubs still contain the tallow version, so it's still worth checking there. And, BTW, you can still get the original Valobra version of Oxford & Cambridge if you don't mind spending $259 on the turned aluminium tub. :eek: Luckily mine was a gift...

From what I have read on other forums the new formula is good but not as good as the tallow version, but in reality that is subjective to so many factors

I was gonna buy the new formula to test for myself but I have enough to see me through a decade easy so why bother :)

And again, how many have you tried? You're not even 50 yet, you still have plenty of time to learn something new. @rhodes96, probably our ultimate soapmaster, had plenty of positive things to say about modern non-tallow soaps before he disappeared off to Thailand. Time to get our heads out of the basement.

1. Wickham 1912 bought all tub sizes and sold them all after two years.
2. Muhle Aloe Vera shaving stick
3. Abbate y La Mantia (all samples)
4. Soap Commander (all samples)
5. Uncle Jon's Bay Rum
6. Viking (all samples)
7. Southern Witchcrafts Sandalwood (sample)
8. The Sudsy Soapery Sandalwood and Myrrh

I’ve tried most of those and absolutely no issues getting a good lather from them.
