Took 3 attempts to get the bevel set on this razor thanks to a rust pit right on the blades edge, and still needs a bit more work on the far side toe in this picture but I just love a Dubl Duck and it was a great learning experience to basically breadknife and grind the edge down a millimetre or two.
Surprised how much effort it took to get the bevel set again, and resorted to edge trailing and burr method because it is the one I am most familiar with from sharpening knives, and can feel when the burr is even along the length of the blades edge.
Once I was happy the bevel set then went through edge leading stone progression 1K/6K/Ark/Coti

Another GD W59, this time off diamond pasted balsa. The edge of this SR is a little crisper than my other GD W59 off vintage coticule. This allowed me to shave some of those elusive missed hairs from my Tuesday shave in my left nostril and ear canal. A lovely shave as always.

Tomorrow will be for the first time my new Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 shorty. I will match that up with VI-John shaving cream, also a first.
