Hi all,
I had a lovely shave this afternoon with the Outlaw Evo SS DE it has some heft to it at 126 grams on my scales I just let the razor do the work.
I have just finished night shift and was sporting a 5 day growth the Evo shaved very smooth and clean no irritation or buffing.
I was enjoying the shave so much I went straight over my Adams apple on the WTG pass nicking it in the process.:ROFLMAO:

The SV 70th is one of my favourite soaps the cushioning, protection and fragrances are first class.

Finished of nicely with Layrite No9 Bay Rum Splash.

1 pass WTG 1 pass ATG no touch-ups.
One nick no worries Done.

Have a great next shave.
Cheers.

Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: TroyCraft "Nebulish" 30mm Shedding Dog silvertip
Soap: Castle Forbes Lavender
Razor: Atelier Durdan La Faulx ++ (Vestige handle)
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, Oxford & Cambridge cologne

Today is my second day with La Faulx, and I'm loving it. Easy GBS in two passes (plus touch-ups), with no feedback from the witch hazel. When I first opened the box, I was slightly apprehensive that the weight of the head might be out of balance with the Vestige handle, but my grip adapted without my having to think about it, so all good. Been eagerly awaiting this, day 2 🤔 so obviously going well and obviously no issue of it being head heavy with the Vestige handle, which you had concerns about? I’ve used mine everyday since the 22nd and can’t see myself putting it down!! I assume it may be smoother than the Vestige, but await a reply after a bit more usage 👍
Cheers

Balance is a non-issue, largely due to that bulb at the end of the handle, which provides a useful grip point for 4th and 5th fingers. A big saving in cost to be able to use the same handle.

No, it's not smoother than the Vestige, but it is faster. But it is smoother than the WR4. So I'm back with being able to switch between my Ferrari and my Rolls-Royce. :smug:
