Have you tried all of them Speedy?

I don't mean to tease you folks, but this has been sitting in my bathroom cabinet for many years now. The scent is very faint and I don't use it often enough to see if it is stronger underneath. Maybe I should cut the top off and press it into a puck just to check underneath?

Might as well, why not? You can still use what you've cut off as an unscented soap, or you can ginger it up with a spritz of cologne or EO into the lather.

In my experience, SIM scent strength is strong - up there with Tabac; after all, both are made by Mäurer & Wirtz.
It would definitely be worth a trim to see if this revives the scent. If not, @Gargravarr provides sound advice, as always.

Adding fragrance never occurred to me - Guerlain Vetiver from the cupboard might be a nice match.

I am a great fan of Tabac. I'm going to cut a 5mm disk off the top to try with added frangrance, and we'll see how it looks underneath.

Unfortunately (for me) I am relocating soon to a very small bathroom space, so pending evaluation of condition, this will very likely be up for grabs soon if anyone is interested. Stay tuned.
