Image posting?

Thanks for the direction to Photobucket and Imgur. No issues uploading to their server and with Imgur pasting the BB code is fine "but" when I resize an image to 800x600 in GIMP it still outputs on the screen almost twice that size.Is this an issue with this site or am I more likely doing something wrong?

Screen is 72ppi. It resizes to 72ppi from 100ppi, simply by expanding the available pixels.

Photobucket colour is miles better too.

Moral of the story - 72ppi for screen, 150dpi for basic print, 300dpi for photos.

So what would you say is the best size to present to the forum? 800x600 or smaller?

Depends how much detail you're desiring to share.
You could go for a pixelated/blurred image and play the bokeh card

I generally use p&c using Tapatalk on a phone, so that size is perfect to me.

Posting photos using Tapatalk broken, @Monsta_AU or am I doing something wrong? Used to work for me.

Images from tapa got disabled you'll need to use a third party like imgur or photo bucket

Tapa uses the same upload feature that has been disabled, so no you won't be able to upload.
