Greetings from Canberra

Hey! Quick replies!
I have sold off a bit of my collection recently but currently in the stable I have;
Ball end old type
1916 Single ring
Rocket HD
Ball end tech
Post war tech
Long comb new
Slim
Gem 1912
Gem micromatic open comb
Gem push button
And a round tip 5/8 Dovo straight and a few blades I like ;)
This brings me down to the things I use regularly but still have a few I'm moving on to make space for other gear.. You know how it is

Soaps wise I love Williams and mitchells wool fat. I've used many but notables are Arko, mama bears and prorasso.
Brushes I'm abit limited and love my whipped dog 24mm high mountain badger but have a synthetic on the way too. Looking forward to getting into some more local products though

Yes we do know how it is.

Can I please note for the record that you're DE count is reasonable but your representation of straights is paltry. Can I suggest that be focussed on as an area of improvement.

Shaver Heaven is the ticket mate.
@Anthony is the maker, and a master. Seriously the best there is internationally. Beats rubbish out of the States and most of Europe. Only contender is MWF....well that's not European though but British :sneaky:

Not a "honemeister" per se, but happy to hone for others.
Can do synth, JNat or coticules....though the latter are my preference....if the steel allows.
Will deffinatly have to take you up on that, I have a couple of straights I'd love to own but haven't pulled the trigger on them yet.

Have you guys tried Williams? It may just be out soft water but wow it's slick stuff, though in the Canberra winters the MWF is more moisturising and offers abit of protecting from the elements.

Welcome @Daveho1 - I am sure you will enjoy your time here (y)

Wait until you try @Anthony 's most recent Shaver Heaven tallow releases. They got it all...ease of lather build, slickness/glide, protection, and post-shave face feel.

Welcome mate!

Nice to have another Canberran here, if you are a Northsider that would be just PERFECT! I do work on the Southside though so we can accomodate that.

Nice selection of kit too - although we might have to see if the PCTB3a, Paste & Cut Travelling Box #3 - Reviews and Comments, can make another stop on the way home maybe and say hi.

Now where is that box???

I'm a Southsider, I realise this may cost me many friendships lol, so cool to find fellow enthusiasts
