Yes... (in short)... retains moisture just as well as the badger, just maybe not heat as much (but in Qld I don't need a hot lather tbh)For all you synthetic users: yesterday I talked a bit with @bald as and I certainly agree on this observations:
when you use a synth and get the perfect looking shiny lather - does it feel/behave the same as the same shiny lather that you got with a natural hair brush?

Quite happy at this stage Have been using it a week. The tips are soft and there is substantial backbone. It can certainly suck up plenty of soap but I like to load heavy. No need to soak the brush and it dries quickly. Is it better than my shavemac or Simpsons? No but it was cheap.How do you find the maggards synthetic? I haven't been overly impressed with it.
