Did you nominate the soap you would have used?
 
B&M Bay Rum, B&M Latha, Proraso Green, Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap, plus a couple of small sample pucks.

I like to rotate them, so that I don't get sick of any scent. They all lather up fine for me, though the Proraso seems to dry on my face fairly quickly. Nothing a runover with a damp brush can't heal.
