Just picked up this boar hair brush for $20 at the local chemist. Will see if it's any good after. Not expecting much but I had to try. Only used badger before so this will be a bit different.

I think there might be a glut of Paladins on here over the next few days. The pics don't do this justice.

After a few test lathers:

An interesting knot, can't wait to try it on my face. My other Paladin is a fan and this hair seems softer with a little less backbone.

So it did better then expected . Was actually pleased with it and not bad for $20. Although my wife didn't understand why I needed another brush. I tried to explain that it was a boar hair brush and that I only have badger hair ones. This was futile.........

Thanks for the speedy delivery of the razor @Reegs . It's my first straight besides my grandfathers old one, which I don't want to cut my teeth on. Can't wait to try it out, I'm just waiting on my Poor Man's Strop coming from Whipped Dog.
