I've used them in the '70's. From memory they were ok, but back then shaving was a chore that had to be done. So in all reality to me it was just another blade.

Which is to say more is better until it no longer is. In this case I think we can agree one is good, more is not.

That and people will try (buy) anything if marketing says they need it.

More over, assuming 100% efficiency a double blade in one pass, is equal to two passes of a single blade is it not?
