Last time I remember as a kid when my granddad has an Old Spice soap on a rope, skunk the whole house and my grandma had to throw out.The 70s called, they want their soap back.
YMMV from different families, either they love it or hate it.

I remember them fondly. Some few makers still have a soap on a rope just not many and they’re more expensive.The 70s called, they want their soap back.

I remember I once had a Yardley soap on a rope. Black label. This was before I was shaving regularly. I reckon if I had kept it, a lotto win would be almost worthless by comparison now.
