It's just a very, very light touch, barely noticeable unless you focus on it. Just enough to give the scent a lift. Otherwise, it's quite a lot like Castle Forbes, but in a nice tin. Interesting that most of my new soap acquisitions came in tins rather than plastic tubs. I'm not complaining, the soap is stupendous.

I probably lied earlier when I mentioned that my rash of purchases was concluded; I forgot that I had meant to order some Extro Cosmesi Bergamotto di Calabria, but my usual sources were out of stock when I was shopping. Google shows it being available elsewhere, so I'll have another go in a month or two.

Your lady sounds like a keeper. ;)

I muddled along for many years shaving "braille" without a mirror. It's easy when you've done it since you were a teenager.

But that ended when my parents came over from the other side of the world for a visit back in the '90s, and Dad complained there was no shaving mirror in the bathroom. So off I immediately went to IKEA (I was in Perth then - no such thing in Tasmania :rolleyes:) and bought a shaving cabinet. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I was a bit improvident with the design of the oddly-shaped bathrooms here; the washbasins are below a window, so I had to resort to something like this now that I'm in the habit of gazing balefully at my reflected lineaments while shaving...
