Had a dram last night.
It's nice, Smooth. Longish finish. Could taste a tiny little bit of smoke, little sweet.
Just lacking in complexity really. Its inoffensive. I have gotten used to more bold Whisky, this is gentle. And a very good intro to the subject. Can certainly taste the age. (Man, I can remember the taketsuru 25 and hibiki 30 but that's a different topic all together)
I actually surprised myself that I could pick up somewhat of an opinion.
Would I drink it, yes. Would I go out and buy another? Probably not anytime soon.
