(attempted) NEW clean up

Hey bros, had this NEW kicking around for a while, but the condition is pretty poor and I really haven't taken good care of it.

So last night I decide to hit it with the old brasso and see if we can't get it to shine! (spoiler alert: we can't really).

OK, so there's some improvement, but I'd like to do better. I'm thinking maybe I need to hit it with some pretty fine grit sandpaper to try to smooth out some of the scratches and dinos and hopefully that will help it shimmer a bit more.

If you're doing this by hand, patience and persistence are your friends.
It probably will require multiple polishing efforts to really start to bring out the shine you desire and as with shave soap, use more product.

This will sound weird, but give tomato or worcestershire sauce a try. Use your fingers or an old toothbrush - soft ones are best I find - to apply and then rub with a soft cloth. Rinse is warm soapy water.

Salt and lemon juice also works well on brass. But is harder on small items like a razor
