Backpack Recommendations

I will say it’s a bit weighty but it’s a great ruck
 
Had a look at the greenroom136 single strap offerings and they are exactly what I want. Bit over my budget thou :(.

anyone have an idea whether they go on sale?
 
RM550 is about $185. For what you get (materials, build quality, customisation) then I think the value is outstanding already. I think they may do occasional 10-20% off sales from time to time, but they are a small business.

I have actually handled a few in my time, and they truly are excellent. It's not exactly my style however. If you compare to Timbuk2's normal prices for example, it's about on-par but you are comparing a very good mass-market brand with an excellent artisan brand.

Yes, definitely worth it. Some people in my Malaysian office have them and swear by them. One rides a motorbike (not a scooter) and that's all he uses.

Make sure you hit RM600 and you get free postage too. Below that you need to add-on postage costs.
 
So my latest acquisitions are a Black wolf Cambridge 35 to replace a 5.11 rush12
And a pelican s105 for the work laptop when I don’t have to suit up.

I‘ve used the Synapse as a work and travel daily for years.

And the small cabin bag has been carry-on around the world. That one almost still looks like the day I bought it. They’re made to last.
 
I kinda have an issue with bags… always have too many and stuff like the pelican s105 isn’t exactly cheap.
