Blades for Karve Razor

Hi Folks,

Is there such a thing as blade compatibility with different DE Razors or its just a preference thing.

I have SS Karve with F plate coming my way so was reading here what people have been using with Karve Razors.

Currently I have been using GSB with SH Apollo light and by far the best performing blades in my experience, well for me at least. Just wanted to know if people had preference on specific brands over another especially with Karve Razors. In other words blades that perform better with F plate. Thanks

Smooth and sharp to very smooth and sharp blades work best for me.
My favourite is the King C Gillette Blades, I rate these the best modern DE blade in production. YMMV

I use just about any blade with the F plate.
Wizamet, GSB, Gillette Greens/Blacks/Winner, Platinum, Rubies, Nacets, etc.
Feathers (of course), and Kai. Vintage Wilkies too. All are good.
Haven't tried Rapira in the Karve yet so they may be fine.
Astra SP I don't like (YMMV) but I do like the Astra SS (it's a 'face feel' thing. The SP blade shaves OK).
What blades do you have now?
I agree with the others ^^^ that the Karve is pretty good with most blades.
 
Thanks for everyone's feedback. Its good to know that Karve works well with most blades.

Currently in rotation are GSB, Feather Hi SS, Astra SS, German Wilkinson Sword.

I have ordered Wizamet Super Iriduim from ebay. Status says shipped now. Looking forward to trying this blade.
