1. Yes.
2. Depends on what you've got. You need a great milled soap - D.R. Harris, C&S/Valobra (not 88), a nice cream (Castle Forbes), a few good artisan soaps (BDSC, Stirling, NO...) just to get going.

Then it's time to start shopping...
