Breaking in a brush?

I have an abundance of shaving soap, an empty skuttle and time on my hands.
Question - How many latherings, rinses and re latherings do you feel would break in [1] a Boar [2] a Horse and [3] a Badger.

Sounds a bit like a 3 brushes walked into a bar joke.
 
[1] 30 (and it still get better later on)
[2] 5-10
[3] 3-5
[4] Synth: 0-1 (needs just a wash)

Important thing is to let them FULLY dry in between (poke into the knot with your pinky, if you are not sure)
 
They'll all work fine from day 1 with a good soapy wash to clean out dust and dirt. The boar will just take a while to soften up. So long as it makes decent lather, I call it broken in.
